  • Completion of Module 01.
  • Analyst or Admin role.
  • One sample credit agreement file.

Concepts

Supported formats​

Smartflow accepts PDF, Word, and scanned image documents.

Example: A scanned signed facility agreement can be uploaded and processed like a digital PDF.

Upload queue and status tracking​

The queue tracks each document from upload to processing and review readiness.

Example: In batch upload, one file can be processing while another is already ready for review.

Batch upload workflow​

Batch upload helps teams process multiple deals in a single action.

Example: An ops user uploads five agreements at once and monitors status from one screen.

Walkthrough

  1. Open Documents and select Upload Document. Expected outcome: Upload panel opens with drag-and-drop zone.

  2. Add one file and start upload. Expected outcome: File appears with status Uploaded.

  3. Add multiple files for a batch and confirm upload. Expected outcome: Each file appears as a separate queue item.

  4. Open queue filters and view status groups. Expected outcome: You can filter by processing state and priority.

  5. Open a file detail card. Expected outcome: You can see upload time, status, and next action.

  6. Send a ready file to extraction. Expected outcome: Status updates to Processing then Ready for Review.

Practice exercise

Scenario: You receive three agreements from different borrowers and need all ready for review.

Task: Upload the three files, monitor status, and identify which one is ready first.

Success criteria:

  • All files uploaded without errors.
  • Status tracked correctly per file.
  • First ready file identified and opened.
